I used my first speech in Parliament as an opportunity to thank the people of Bragg, fight for local projects and outline the values that will guide my decision-making.
The speech also addressed the broader challenges of today – with a particular focus on economic policy – and criticised “unstable, inefficient and inequitable” taxes including payroll tax, stamp duty and land tax.
