New Cricket Pitch for Marryatville Primary School

Published March 2024

I was honoured to participate in the presentation of a cheque to Marryatville Primary School on 1st March as part of the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) Places to Play Grant Program.

Marryatville Primary School received $22,000 for a new concrete cricket pitch with synthetic grass.

‘Places to Play’ is a new funding model SACA has launched to give more people opportunities to play cricket. Through the fund, schools and councils can apply to have a new synthetic cricket pitch installed at a suitable green space in partnership with a local club or association.

Congratulations to Marryatville Primary School and thank you for providing the opportunity for kids to get involved in sports. Maybe Marryatville Primary School will foster our next cricket hero!

Does your school or local club need a new cricket pitch? Visit the SACA website for more information on the grant program.

A big cheque for a new cricket pitch at Marryatville Primary School!
