Community uproar has forced Peter Malinauskas to temporarily put on hold plans for the restructure that would see 27 positions in the museum’s Research and Collections division terminated and replaced with 22 more junior, curatorial positions.
The SA Museum is home to world-class collections and research and Peter Malinauskas must safeguard one of our state’s key cultural institutions and save jobs
My message to the Premier during this Review is clear: restore the funding, save the jobs and cancel the “re-imagining”.
