I have secured a number of improvements at the school crossing on Kensington Road at Marryatville High School and have been campaigning for more right across the electorate.
These upgrades included improved signage, road markings, and a red-light camera.
I have been advocating for more right across the electorate – including the consideration of 40km/h speed zones near schools on main roads such as Kensington and Portrush Road.
I am proud to announce that we have now secured Government funding to improve school crossings across the state – including the implementation of 40km/h school zones – at some locations. I have contacted the Minister and addressed Parliament how this funding could be spent at our local schools.
I will continue to advocate for improved road safety around our local schools.
